You can playback movies with 3 ways: LCD Monitor, PC and TV.

Playback on LCD Monitor

      You can playback movies on the LCD monitor. You can also edit out the movie’s first and last scenes.

Playback with PC

      The movie files recorded in the card can be transferred to PC and played or edited with ZoomBrowser EX/ImageBrowser software.

Playback on TV

      You can set the aperture to a value at which you want to shoot. The PowerShot SX150 will set the appropriate shutter speed for the aperture value you set.

Setting the Shutter Speed

1. Set the mode dial to Av (Aperture Value).

2. Turn the control dial to set the aperture value.
3. Shooting images.

F3.4, F3.5, F4.0, F4.5, F5.0, F5.6, F6.3, F7.1, F8.0

      You can set the shutter to the speed at which you want to shoot. The PowerShot SX150 will set the appropriate aperture value for the shutter speed you set.

2. Turn the control dial to set the shutter speed.

How to choose Landscape mode

1. Set the mode dial to SCN.

2. After pressing the FUNC./SET button, press the ISO/Jump or Self-Timer button to choose Portrait.

3.Press the Flash button or turn the Control dial to choose a Landscape mode, then press the FUNC./SET button.

      You can choose from 5 recording pixel settings.

L (Large) 14M/4320 x 3240 pixel

How to set Image Size

1. After pressing the FUNC./SET button, press the ISO/Jump or Self-Timer button to choose L.

      You can adjust the exposure from -2 to +2 stops in 1/3-stop increments when using the flash.

How to set Flash Exposure Compensation

1. After pressing the FUNC./SET button, press the ISO/Jump or Self-Timer button to choose Flash Exposure Compensation.

2. Press the Macro/Manual Focus or Flash or turn the Control dial to choose the amount of Flash Exposure Compensation, then press the FUNC./SET button.

-Auto Mode, automatically selects the best shooting settings for optimal quality based on subjects and environmental factors to provide point-and-shoot simplicity.

      If you set the PowerShot S100 to Macro mode, it focuses on close subject only. The focusing range is approximately 3 – 50 cm (1.2 inch – 1.6 ft.) from the end of the lens at maximum wide angle.

      When zoom and background far away, background will be blurred. The background with a light sifting leave Leaf, water reflections, light reflected from the drops of water, and more, causing Bokeh. Make the images smooth and charm.

      You can shoot with the flash turned off.

How to choose Flash Off with Canon PowerShot S100

1. Press the Flash button.

2. Press the Macro/Manual Focus or Flash button or turn the Control dial to choose Flash Off, then press the FUNC./SET button. If the flash is raised, it will automatically lower.
